The property is a Grade 2 listed building located in the Belgravia Conservation area of SW London
Our project brief was to completely refurbish the property including the restoration of its many traditional features. In addition to these works we were to design a new two storey mews building at the rear and excavate for a double basement below the main part of the property.
The double basement was fitted out with a swimming pool, cinema room, bar area, gymnasium, steam room and jacuzzi. The new mews block incorporated a kitchen, garage and roof top terrace area with summer house. The mews building was linked to the house via a glazed extension.
Due to the height of the property a passenger lift was installed from basement to Sixth floor level.
